We moved into a new place in the middle of December. Shortly thereafter Ariel graduated with her masters in nursing from UCSF, so all of our parents were in town, which was awesome. Not long after that I went up to Alaska for the week around Christmas. That was a blast. Got see tons of old friends and meet Nate and Jessica's baby boy Jack! Very cool. So, a couple days after I returned to Berkeley, we packed our bags and headed down to Baja for the New Years. That was also awesome. Then, a few weeks ago we adopted a couple of cats! Anyways, the photos for Baja and the Cats have been up for a while, but I haven't put up many of the new place, which, by the way, is also awesome. Most of them were shot with my new camera, the Canon 20D (awesome), and they were all shot inside or close by our place.
Here are the photos.
As you can see, it's a little redwood cabin. It's a standalone structure with one bedroom, one bath, a nice kitchen and lots of windows. Porch, patio, view. All the fixins. We love it so far. Our landlords are well known architects in Berkeley. Our new cats seem to have taken to us and our new place quite well. We'll stick around here for a while. We had a great housewarming party last weekend. Thanks to everyone for comming, it was great to see all you folks!
We saw Hotel Rwanda last night. Very well done. Everyone must see it! Don't take your youngsters unless you are ready to do some talking. Lots of disturbing scenes but a highly valuable experience. Check it out.
